I'm Jesse, owner of Ghost Town Threads. Like most screen printers, I started printing when I was in a band in my teens. We needed merch to sell at shows. I could draw much better than I could drum, why not put those designs on some shirts? I convinced my mom to help buy some printing equipment and taught myself how to use it downstairs in the basement, using the bathtub as a washout bay. Eventually, I started doing merch for other bands in and around Calgary. That continued for a few fun years and bands until real life got in the way, we all got big-boy jobs and moved on.
Fast forward about 15 years, after exiting the corporate world, I started my clothing brand - Dead Trade Company. To save some money, I dusted off the old equipment and got to work printing garments for the online store. I began printing small jobs for friends and family by word of mouth. It snowballed from there, and I started a screen printing business too. Why the hell not?
Now, here we are, a Sherwood Park-based business, providing authentic, hand-printed garments for bands, teams, and companies around Alberta and beyond. Ghost Town Threads continues to grow with the help of like-minded customers who want to support local small businesses. We couldn't do it without them and strive to provide the best service and quality possible.
